About Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic Doctors are primary healthcare providers that use natural therapies to treat illness and re-establish the foundations for health. We recognize that each case is unique and use an individualized approach, treating the root causes of disease and stimulating your body's own self-healing mechanisms.
We treat a variety of health conditions, acute and chronic, with a combination of natural therapies to help the body heal:
- Botanical Medicine
- Clinical Nutrition
- Acupuncture
- Lifestyle Counseling
- Homeopathy
- Intravenous Nutrient Therapy
- Hydrotherapy

Naturopathic doctors are highly trained healthcare providers. To be certified in Ontario, naturopathic doctors complete at least three years of post-secondary premedical studies and four years of study at an accredited naturopathic college. Naturopathic medicine is an integral part of the healthcare team, whether it be focusing on disease prevention, working along side with conventional treatments, or providing natural alternatives to medications.
Naturopathic medicine is covered by most extended healthcare plans - check with your provider for details on your coverage.
